When Disaster Strikes, Where is GOD ?

Many asks where is GOD when calamity or disaster strikes. I believe that in such very sad, tragic and emotionally painful times, that GOD reveals Himself through those who extend a helping hand, through those who risk their own life to save their fellowmen, through those who lift up weak arms and strengthen feeble knees.  Compassion is the ability to feel another person's pain. JESUS was a man of compassion.  It is recorded in the bible that each time JESUS was moved with compassion, HE did something -- HE healed, taught, fed and HE raised the dead.  When disaster strikes, and you are moved with compassion, do something to help, and alllow the love of GOD to flow through you. HE lives withn you through the power of the Holy Spirit.
